About Us

We take that extra step for you!

L&W Garbage Service was established in 1974 by Lee and Wayne Inness after moving their family of 6 from California back to their Nebraska roots.

Lee was the mother of four, grandmother of 7, and great (and great-great) grandmother of, well, we lost count!

Wayne is a World War 2 Navy Veteran, and later was a construction foreman helping to build many buildings in the Los Angeles area.

We are a family owned and operated business! Uncles and aunts work with nieces and nephews, alongside friends that have been with us for so long that they’ve become family as well!

And you, the customer, are our extended family. We thank you for all your years of loyal support!

After passing, Wayne Inness gifted his company to his daughter Linda. She is now the second-generation owner of L & W. She has always had a helping hand and took care of her parents up until they passed away. She was particularly involved and close with her parents. Linda and Wayne both had a love for fishing, every year they would take a fishing trip to Alaska. Linda worked for Pfizer for 20 years, where she operated machinery and ran a dispensing lab. She has been happily married to Acey since 1970. Acey and Linda raised two beautiful daughters who all have families of their own now. Linda is a mother, grandma, and a great grandma. The Jane’s are compassionate people who are very active in their community as they have fostered over 30 children. They have also fed several kids in different countries. Linda is honored to continue her dad’s legacy.

As our extended family we wanted all of you to know that on July 3rd 2018, Wayne the "W" in L&W went and met His Savior Jesus face to face only 252 days after his Beautiful Bride of 71 years. He was an incredible man, husband, father, grandpa, great grandpa and great, great Grandpa who loved the Lord with all his heart and loved his wife, family, and his dog, BeBe! They are so missed!

Testimonials

Love your tribute to your parents/grandparents. Lee and Wayne were wonderful people and enjoyed reading about them. Wayne had great vision and courage to leave California and return to Nebraska. They were both great friends of mine and are sorely missed
